DCET 2022 Required Documents Don’t Miss These Documents While Counselling

DCET 2022 counselling process will commence after the result is announced. Qualified candidates will have to participate in the DCET counselling 2022 for admissions into the courses offered by the participating Institutes. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will conduct DCET 2022 for admission to second-year Engineering courses.

DCET Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of DCET 2022 before applying for the entrance exam. There are some conditions and requirements that candidates must meet to be considered for admission. No candidate will be eligible for the final seat allotment if he/she does not fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.

Eligibility for B.E. Courses (Day Engineering Institutions)

Candidates must have passed diploma or equivalent exam from a recognized institution with minimum 45% marks in 5th and 6th semester combined.

However, the minimum percentage marks for SC/ST candidates is 40%.

Eligibility for B.E. Courses (Evening Engineering Institutions)

Candidates must have passed diploma or equivalent exam from a recognized institution with minimum 45% marks in 5th and 6th semester combined (40% in case of SC/ST candidates).

In addition to this, candidates must have 2 years of relevant professional experience as on 1 September 2022.

Eligibility for B.Arch First Year (Only in Day Engineering College)

Candidates must have passed diploma or equivalent exam from a recognized institute with 50% aggregate score in all the subjects of the final year along with 40% marks in NATA 2022.

DCET Result 2022

Candidates who will appear in the exam will be able to check the result of DCET 2022 in online mode by logging in to the result portal. DCET 2022 results contain the marks secured by the candidates – individual subjects and overall scores. Candidates can refer to the given steps to check the result of DCET 2022.

How to download DCET 2022 Result?

The following documents should be produced, ONLY if applicable:

  • Kannada Medium Study Certificate counter signed by the concerned BEO, for the candidates claiming
    Kannada Medium reservation benefits.
  •  Rural Study Certificate counter signed by the concerned BEO and a verification certificate (only for GM candidates).
  •  Caste Certificate / Caste Income Certificate / Income Certificate obtained from the concerned  Tahasildar, for the candidates claiming Reservation benefits. (Caste and Income Certificate in Form ‘D’ in case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and in Form ‘E’ in case of Category-I and a Caste Income Certificate in Form ‘F’ for other backward classes like 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B, issued by the jurisdictional Tahasildar) (Only for Karnataka Candidates)
  • Parent’s study certificate / Parent’s Hometown certificate / (Parent’s Domicile certificate / Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card, etc.,) for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the (domicile) / study / (employment) of the parent.
  •  Candidates claiming Hyderabad-Karnataka Region Reservation (Article 371 (j)) must submit the  certificate in Annexure – A (eligibility certificate – rule 3(3)) issued by the concerned Assistant Commissioner during document verification.
  • Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu  Kannadiga clauses.
  •  Minimum TWO years work Experience Certificate (for Evening Engineering College candidates) (work
    experience certificate should include Name of the Organization, Date of Joining, Designation, Working
    Period, No Objection Condition etc.,).

NOTE: Further, candidate belonging to SC, ST and Category-I claiming seat under reserved category shall also produce Income certificate issued by the jurisdictional Tahashildar for verification.

Process for DCET 2022 Counselling

Candidates can follow the given steps to complete the DCET counselling process:

  • Registration: Candidates will have to register for the DCET 2022 counselling process. During the registration process, the candidates will have to fill out their choice of college and course as per their preference.
  • Seat Allotment: The authorities allot seats as per their rank, preference and availability of seats. The seat allotment result has been announced in online mode.
  • Document Verification: Allotted candidates will have to verify their documents at the notified centres. The original, as well as one set of attested photocopies of the documents, have to be submitted by the candidates.
  • Fee Payment: The required fee has to be paid by the candidates through a demand draft to confirm their admission. Failure to pay the fee within the last date will result in the disqualification of the candidates
  • Reporting at Allotted Colleges: Finally, the candidates will have to report at their allotted colleges.

   List of Documents required for DCET 2022 Counselling

  • Final Printout of the DCET-2019 Downloaded Application Form.
  • Original copy of the Challan for having paid the fees.
  •  DCET-  2022 Admission Ticket.
  • SSLC / 10th Standard / Equivalent Examination Marks Card.
  • Diploma or Equivalent Examination Marks Card of all the Years / Semesters.
  •  Study Certificate counter signed by the concerned BEO / DDPI (Only for Karnataka Candidates).
  •  TWO recent passport size Colour Photographs.
